Update on life

I just finished looking over the other posts I've done in the past and all I can think is "Damn, thank God i'm not in the past anymore" LOL. Seriously, so many people thought I had it
together, but in reality I was broken inside.

Anyway, so after taking a few months off, I'm an official College student! Yay! Although I did not end up going to Notre Dame, I'm pretty okay with it now. DeAnza is okay for now. I obviously don't love the school, but it's fine because I won't be there for long. Seeing the type of people that go to that school, pushes me to want to succeed. My goal is to transfer to Santa Clara University. That has been my dream school since like day one so that is where I will go. I don't care what it takes, I will do it. College is so different from High School. Students get up and leave in the middle of class like nothing or come in whenever they please. Its actually really rude disrupting. Thank God at Fremont I learned not to do that.

In High School, I used to go talk to the school therapist like 3 times a week and I learned so much from her. She told me that we have the power to control our mind and our happiness. Honestly, I would just roll my eyes at first, but now I totally see it. I feel like i'm a new person. Both good and bad I guess. I'm much much happier that's for sure. I try not to be home just because being home gets me depressed (that's me learning how to control it). It's funny because now people look at me and say, "Wow what happened?" LOL. They are talking about my confidence level and also the way I act. I'm way more out going now and I find that to be a good thing. I can balance school and having fun. It's pretty great actually.

I still have a boyfriend. Unfortunately, he left in May to boot camp. For 2 whole months, all we could do is write letters to each other. I still remember the feeling I got when I saw the first one :) As of July, he is officially in the U.S. Navy! So proud of him. it has been tough since he is all the way in San Diego, but hey its better then him being in like Washington or something. Its going pretty great and he is amazing. He supports me in everything!
